Supporting Science, One Shenanigan at a Time
Here at Tommy’s Pizzeria, we believe in one thing: Pizza. And Smiles. And Family. All of the above.
We aim to make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door, and we take pride in our food every step of the way.

Our History
Before Tommy’s was the Tommy’s you know and love, it all started with an idea, many years ago, in 2025. We here at the Berg Field Center have always wanted to share our kitchen and home cooking with the broader community, and Tommy’s has helped realize that goal. What started as a joke that became a larger and more elaborately planned joke has now culminated with real people eating real pizza. And a real person reading a real website.
Our namesake, Thomas Berg, didn't share this vision. In fact, we can't confirm or deny that he ever had pizza in his life. But what we do know is that his picture is on our wall, and that means something to us. So now it means something to you, dear reader. Here's to you, Tom.
Papa Tom (1933–1969)
Our Vision
It all starts with simple, locally grown ingredients. We cut out the middle man with a fresh and sustainable farm-to-internationalshippingport-to-table chain. We are so far removed from the soil that these tomatoes grew from, the cows this cheese was milked from, and the olives this oil was pressed from, that we consider it all a wash and smile knowing that we're all part of the same earth anyways. These local ingredients are imported at great expense and subsidized heavily by the U.S. Government to allow no cost to you. That’s what family is all about.
When you walk into Tommy's, we want you to feel welcome and at home. That means plaid checker tablecloths. Embroidered aprons. Poofy chef hats. Vaguely Italian music. The dinging of a little bell. You'd best believe our chef is in the kitchen, recklessly tossing dough in the air as close to the ceiling as they can. Hell yeah, what a spectacle. Ride that lightning, chef.

Our Thanks
We appreciate your patronage, and your choice to support Tommy’s Pizzeria. Especially in the modern world of supermassive corporate-owned pizza conglomerates who corner the market like McMurdo Pizza. We represent the little guy, who can thrive on novelty rather than quality, consistency, or capacity. We deeply appreciate everyone who made this dream a reality, from conception to gestation to afterbirth to table.
In a world ripe with choices, we’re glad you settled for us.
